Massage Therapy is a part of Ontario's Regulated Health Care system. As such, an RMT is a licensed professional providing relief of strained, sore, or sprained muscles or ligaments in a strictly therapeutic way. In my clinic, there is a zero tolerance policy for any type of sexual misconduct from clients. Any sexually suggestive behaviour, language or actions will not be tolerated. In such a situation, I will stop the treatment immediately, and permanently discharge the client on the basis of sexually inappropriate behaviour.
